We are delighted to announce that Michael Shaw has joined our Community as an Associate.


With 16 years of transformative experience in leading significant organisational and care system changes within the NHS, Michael is set to make a remarkable impact on our collective efforts in healthcare.


Michael is renowned for his exceptional ability to deliver complex, multi-million-pound work programmes. His extensive background includes designing and implementing robust structures, processes and behavioural solutions that drive successful large-scale change. His deep understanding of stakeholder engagement and cultural development positions him as a true catalyst for improvement.


As a knowledge leader, Michael possesses the unique ability to interpret the healthcare environment, allowing him to navigate the complexities of change effectively. His strategic insights have empowered executives across integrated care boards, acute, community, mental health and primary care providers, enhancing their capacity to implement impactful change.


Michael's experience spans public, commercial and non-profit sectors, including the NHS and FMCG, providing him with a well-rounded perspective on improving organisational quality, performance and productivity. Michael is a Non-Executive Director for the Institute of Continuous Improvement. This breadth of knowledge and experience enriches our community, enabling us to approach issues with innovative solutions tailored to the diverse needs of the healthcare and broader public sector.
